From what I see in it, the movie is intended to be a funny satire of 1950s Hollywood, both in style and content. There have been some articles written about the various people they are lampooning in the movie, which go beyond Hedda Hopper and the more obvious jokes to some much subtler humor...
I agree. I'm hoping I can reach people who didn't see it before.
My initial reaction to the title when I heard about was to think this would be another "Burn After Reading". I was pleasantly surprised and I hope that I may convince some other people to give it a chance.
