The smilebox aspect ratio cannot be expressed without an equation. 2.8:1 is for a straight flat letterboxed unwrap of a three panel Cinerama image. For flat 70mm productions, didn't they optically alter prints so that they would look more "right" on a curved screen back in the day? Regards,- Ken_McAlinden
