Maybe it's time to start a Season 7 spoilers/speculations thread....

Another thing: hearing the helicopter coming caused them to leave the platform early, thus endangering the plan. Phillip almost got off the platform with the chip. But all's well that ends well....

There's at least two more seasons to do that :)

24 is just going down the list of technical disciplines: computers, military, traffic, urology -- welcome to the club! At least Nadia doesn't have to choose between Milo and Doyle. The writers need some characters that the audience cares about to appear as cameos next season. And if...

Just like flat-lining in an ambulance, or being taken off-camera then hearing a shot :) I wonder if William Devane is in any more episodes. How much do you make in a walk-on like that? "Hey, it'd be cool if we could get Secretary Heller back. Good thing we didn't actually show him dying."...

False equivalence is annoying. 24 is more stupid than most action flicks because of its structure. Stupid things have to happen over and over -- like clockwork! -- because there are 24 consecutive "real-time" one-hour episodes. And this is the sixth season, so very similar stupid stuff seems to...

At least they didn't ask for the nukes themselves. That would be even less plausible. I wonder if Hamri Al-Assad will ever get his name cleared, or even credit for saving POTUS. That partly depends on whether Wayne survives (I'm guessing the writers haven't tossed the coin yet, but he's out...

He called CTU directly; they forwarded the call. If a stranger is calling for a dead man who happens to be leading a live counter-terrorism op, it might be important. As for the timing, it's hardly the most implausible thing on the show. Perhaps the Chinese were monitoring the situation, and...

Interesting how they leveraged our assumption that CTU was once again incompetent in letting Fayed get intercepted and escape. (Fayed didn't know just how authentically the junior high squabbling between Jack and Doyle represents CTU.) Well played, writers. As hinted by last week's previews...

As WillG mentions, the previews for next week reveal why. It makes sense, as far as 24 goes. As for Wayne dying, been there done that. The show can only kill so many presidents before they completely lose credibility  After all, this isn't the first time the show has chopped off an...

Is there still a question as to who is "the" mole? If torture has been overdone, then moles are a charred black cinder. The last infiltration, blamed on Nadia, was because she visited a web site that planted a virus, right? (So much for all the security from people having to manually open...

I'm pretty sure he was credited as Ricky -- which is odd, since I thought he dropped that on NYPD Blue. I actually had no problem with him on that show, but here, he just seems really slight. And of course, there's the existing rancor with another CTU co-worker. But still, better episode than...

No Agent Pierce and no Michelle. Mmm, Michelle :D I figured they would not kill yet another President Palmer, but Al-Assad was expendable, and would allow the show to keep its "edge" with the body count. And plot-wise, it might be cleaner. How long Wayne stays incapacitated is completely up...

Most recently Rena Sofer starred in both Blind Justice and Coupling. Don't care about Eric Balfour enough to pay attention :) You can try googling "showkiller" which brings up two other well-known "bad luck" actors: Paula Marshall and Ted McGinley. Oh: Eric was in Conviction and Hawaii.

Not that it really makes sense if you think too hard, but Daddy really wanted Gredenko's address so he could "resolve" the situation. Jack now knew the address and the trade was both a way to talk to Jack, and let Josh free. (The old man has a teeny bit of a soft spot.) Then when he found out...

Supposedly he was there in case they found any "hard drives" at the house. As far as canceled shows, who's in the lead, Rena Sofer or Eric Balfour? It's like a twofer!

The personality conflict crap between Karen Hayes and the Biscuit annoyed me. Not that 24 is realistic, but it's sad thinking about bringing in Chad Lowe to do all the weasel crap in some kind of power play during a time of crisis. And of course, Karen did some potentially questionable stuff...

Totally lame soap opera baloney for me. So now you totally expect "Uncle Jack" to really be "daddy", especially given the kid's resemblance to Kim. (Not to mention the weapon dealer's blonde also looks like Kim.) On the plus side, Rena Sofer is hot.

Ground zero was "over the hill"; he wasn't looking right at it. And even if he was, it would turn out that Jack has a mutant inner eyelid or something that allows him to recover, the same way he does from heart attacks and such.

I am reminded of that great line from Ghostbusters: "If someone asks if you're a god, you say YES!". If a terrorist asks you to deliver a "component", you say NO! This may sound callous, but in the fantasy world of 24, at least the father died knowing that he fucked up. Given the rumble...

Fayed is clearly not a criminal mastermind. First, his torture base is within driving distance of L.A. -- especially with 24 traffic rules -- so that Jack can thwart his plan. Second, they place the suicide bomber on the last train, you know the one with the candy glass on the back door. That...
