Finally watched the last episode (holiday) and caught up with this thread. It ended as it began for me, a downbeat ending to a downbeat show. In order S1, S3, S2, S4, I doubt there will be a S5.

Episode 7 starts well but half way through I realised my problem with Season 4. This season is sparsely populated, but most scenes in episode 7 consist of two characters giving exposition. The show hasn't been renewed yet, but I hope the producers have considered that it might not be renewed...

I was underwhelmed by episode 1. Clearly there are many threads being pulled and hopefully there will be some focus in future episodes. I watched Reminiscence recently, exemplary cast and production values but weak script, I hope season 4 picks up.

I'm currently watching Person of Interest, Jonathan Nolan's prior show, but this is episodic television. Westworld plays like a long movie and has excellent A/V.

I'm with you, I also preferred Season 3 which I am currently rewatching. One of the few television shows released on 4k disc. Season 4 is on Sky Atlantic and Now in the UK.
