At this point, everyone in the industry knows about this issue, and the fact that consumers very much want uncut episodes. If syndicated versions appear on a set, be 100% sure it is the result of a calculated decision: the money they save in production costs more than makes up for the sales...

yeah well, studios will have to figure that one out. If you buy whatever they throw at you, then they'll know mediocrity sells, and will have no incentive whatsoever to do things right in the future. Remember, losing money is the only language they'll respond to.

It seems people are wising up: as of right now, this mediocrity is ranked at #116 in sales over at Amazon. For a very hot show this is VERY poor showing.

If you (and many others) buy it as it is, you are guaranteed they wont do a better job next time.
