His unused 2001 score was released on CD back in the '90s, I think. I used to have a copy, but it's been so long since I listened to it that I can't remember for certain how much it resembled the Dragonslayer score.

It's still a dark scene, but it's much better than previous video editions. You can see the dragon well defined and tell what's happening in this one.
