    Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC)

It's like the author didn't even watch the other Marvel productions, and just "heard some things" about them. No established tone in Daredevil? Please. Agent Carter, while a fine show, was the least of the four 2016 Marvel television shows (I'm including JJ, even though it was released in...

    Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC)

I can't think of single stunt sequence from either SHIELD or Agent Carter that compares to even a "basic" fight sequence from Daredevil. Outside of the two "Daisy solo fights" from SHIELD, none of the sequences from the ABC shows are what I would call "ambitious," and are in fact generally...

    Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC)

My opinions seem to be almost opposite of the other Josh (cue alternate universe spooky music). I think Daredevil is among the best of Marvel's productions (along with Guardians of the Galaxy and Jessica Jones), and would rank Agent Carter toward the bottom (though I do like it, and absolutely...

    Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC)

With all respect to Agent Carter (of which I am a fan, though I think it has some faults), I don't think there is a lot of depth. If you place all the MCU properties on a "depth" scale, I think Agent Carter were be on the low end--if not at the lowest--with Jessica Jones or Daredevil at the...

    Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC)

Pre-Winter Soldier, I would have agreed with you. However, I think post-Winter Soldier SHIELD is better than Agent Carter (for all the reasons I've mentioned already in this thread). Still enjoy the show, but it's pretty average, and without its connection to the MCU, I would probably skip it.

    Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC)

Losing members of the Howling Commandos is sort of a big thing, though. In the comics--or an episode of really any other TV show--the deaths would have been given some impact. It all just felt...off. Dang, I'm not trying to be down on the show, as I genuinely like it a lot, but there are just...

    Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC)

A fine episode, but I found it to be a tad rushed, and the lack of emotion (or really any treatment whatsoever) with respect to the KIAs to be...strange.

That was my understanding, too. In the part of the scene in the observation room, we learn that SSR has the police report: Peggy is in the room observing, Jarvis mentions the police report, Peggy leaves immediately "just when it's getting good" (or something like that). Shortly thereafter...

    Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC)

It's the sparseness that is the issue, as though the show's budget didn't have enough room for enough "stuff." It looks clean because it's empty. I really don't think there is any sort of historical verisimilitude at work here. Coupled with the softness (and I agree that ABC shows tend to...

    Marvel’s Agent Carter (ABC)

I think Agent Carter is good--good, but not great. The first three episodes are certainly better than the first three episodes of SHIELD, but that isn't saying much. The leads are great, and the supporting cast is great, too. However, the dialogue is only average, and I don't think the...
