When the White Sox ran him out of town they basically said he was a cripple, which isn't the case with his upper body at least. Not sure about the "good guy" status, but compared to Kenny Rogers...

The who? ;) Congrats to Arod, Jeter, Giambi, and especially Jaret Wright for ensuring that the Red Sox still have infinitely more World Championships this millennium than Georgie Porgie. :D

Note to John Henry: Enough with the BS of trading Manny and wasting an entire offseason again. Keep Manny and add talent with all the money you didn't spend this year.

They're spending almost twice as much as the second highest team so I'm not surprised. Why does the pitching still suck though? Heck, I'd trust Clement and a tight strike zone over Jaret Wright. Yankee killer sure played his role in keeping that SOB out of action until now, though. Maybe he'll...

Please say no to Lidge. Oswalt, yes. Lidge, no. I'd much rather they bring in another starter and keep Papelbon in the pen than set themselves up for Kimmy #2.AND PLEASE KICK CLEMENT AND NIXON TO THE CURB!!!!!!!!!!!! I sure hope Henry lost at least a few million in the end compared to the...

Do I hear: "What will we do with Yankee killer?" There's always room, especially for a bat for a team that has been playing a lot of extra inning games lately. The more chances a run scores before Rudy and Tavarez are warming up, the better the chance for a win. Did I mention Yankee Killer...

I hereby vote to bring back Yankee Killer once the 10 days are up on the cheap. :D With all those Yankee double headers this Summer there's plenty of room for his bat in the lineup at the league minimum salary. Plus, since Koby, Kory, KooKoo, and the other Clemens' Kids aren't using the kid...

Still on the board. Update: Gone to the Cubs with their second pick. Interesting because he's a White Sox fan. Looks like football season's a go for sure with a likely holdout on that front. :D Red Sox go CF, P, P, P, P... Can't really disagree with that strategy.

I think you forgot to mention the part about the Babe going 3-3 against him with 4 RBIs while earning his 7th win in 9 decisions. ;) Oh, yeah, with Pujols likely headed for the DL it could be Nomaaahhh and his .370+ avg at 1B for the All-Star Game. :D

Manny isn't a bad outfielder. He's not a gold glover or a candidate to cover CF, but he more than does his part. He had 17 assists last year from LF.
