I enjoyed the film, but have to admit it came up a bit short with some of the potential WW2 scenes w/ Cap. Agree that Johnston does the era very well, the first hour or so was a joy to watch. First shot of Dugan, made ma laugh. I havent seen that character in a comic book since prob the 70s...

Only one theater in my area playing it in 2D and its the galleria Hate going there. Its in 3D everywhere. Will try first showing tomorrow morning.

The gray straps dont seem to serve any purpose and are distracting. Remove them, and it would look much better.

Looks fine for the modern suit. I thought it was pretty much set in stone we were gonna see a more historic look for the WW2 footage.

Is Weaving being considered for Skull?

Two suggestions for Red Skull I liked were Mads Mikkelsen and Christoph Waltz.

"One of the interesting aspects of the character is the effect that kind of total transformation would have on the his psyche. It gives the character more dimension and the actor playing him a wider range of interesting choices. " I like that he mentioned that.

I had mentioned Evans awhile ago. Since the FF movies dont exist in my mind :) I have no problem with him taking on another Marvel role.Ive liked him in the parts Ive seen him do, and hes got a decent enough build for the part. Im ok with it. I wish theyd get moving on the film.
