Saturday Night Live - Season 32

Tony!!! Thanks for posting that!!!! I, uhhh, watched that episode of THE OC, yet didn't realize that sketch was such an exact parody of it. I know the first two verses of the song have been overused (on SMITH, on another episode of THE OC, in the film THE LAST KISS) but that "Whatcha say"...

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

Watching Sofa King again after reading this thread, it IS hysterical. I think the fact that it came right after the Digital Short, which I was still laughing about, threw me off. I'm not used to two good sketches right after each other like that.

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

Uhhh, until I just read it, I never even picked up on the Sofa King double meaning. Guess I am as bad as the censors. And that Moustache rides, is that a real expression? I didn't get that sketch at all.

No comments about this weeks episode? Not the greatest, but the SNL Digital Short was great. It gets funnier on each viewing. Although, after today's events in the news, I don't think it will be rerun anytime soon.

I'm not much of a football fan, so didn't know much about Peyton Manning before watching. Now, I can't wait for him to host again. He was hysterical. Loved the locker room sketch dancing to "Casino Royale". And the taped United Way bit. A lot of great stuff.

I got that, but they should have had really bad singers, or something along those lines. You saw what the joke was from the first animal, and it didn't get any funnier with each of the following ones. Even though the cast did a pretty good imitation of the judges.

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

The opening sketch was not very good, an AMERICAN IDOL parody where they for some reason judge animals. I'm all for an IDOL parody, instead of a political sketch, but the joke didn't work. The rest of the episode I thought was quite good, mainly because Barrymore was really a terrific...

Also thought it was the D word.

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

I'm only halfway through the episode (Tivoed it) but Alec Baldwin in the opening, and the P Diddy cartoon were very funny. But the classic, once again Wiig and the Two A-Holes. "He doesn't look like Santa"

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

Yeah, another off episode. Very few laughs. Liked the elevator sketch, although you are right, it never really had a great punchline. And, I liked Amy and Kristen on the porch trying to kiss Matthew Fox. Not the greatest of sketches, but they made it work. And is it just me or is Jack Black...

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

After last week, what happened? A terrible episode last night.

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

All those "SNL is dead" posts recently, and they turn out an episode like this. Probably the most consistently funny in years. The opening San Francisco values sketch with Nancy Pelosi, the car sketch (that Bobby McFerrin line has to be the funniest in a long time), Martin Short's cameo...

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

Yeah, Wiig is definitely the best thing about the show now. Last nights, I thought, was the weakest of the season. Other than BORAT, just not funny. Beck's puppets were cool, but I still don't like his music.

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

I loved both of Kristen Wiig's segments with Jaime. The "Hands on a Hard Body" sketch "If you look this good after all that, you must look great fresh out of the shower" and the final, porch sketch. The rest was not one of its best (although I liked the Nancy Grace bit), but it was better...

Saturday Night Live - Season 32

That is probably the best description of him that I have read. Also, not a fan. But thank god he didn't do that godawful superman and ice cream cone bit. What he did tonight was more tolerable. Not funny, but he didn't have all his manic gyrations and cutesy words which make him so annoying...
