Me too! This season missed by a mile.
And, frankly, I'm getting very tired of this bringing back characters from old seasons. How is that neither Iris nor Liz mentioned that Billie Dean looks just like Sally. Or Queenie mentioning how the woman who attacked her in the hotel room looked just...
Thoughts on LG's Golden Globe win for Best Actress? Frankly, IMO, SO not deserved. She wasn't bad, by any means, but compared to Queen Latifah in Bessie or Kirstin Dunst in Fargo I just don't see it. But I do wonder if this means she'll agree to come back for S6.
Liz is definitely my favorite character this year. Denis O'Hare is really knocking it out of the ballpark. Pretty entertaining ep. Some good lines. "Clutch your pearls, Daddy!" LOL.
Definitely their weakest season. Agree about Evan Peters, though, bless his heart, he is giving it his all. Also loved the casting of Finn as Valentino, but hated the weak storyline. And in last week's episode suddenly Finn's accent seemed more Russian than Italian. LOL. So many great...
Now THAT was a great episode, imo! (11/11/15). FINALLY!! Good writing and direction and fine performances all around. And actually story and character based! Yeah! I hope the remaining ones keep up that quality.
So incredibly disppointed in the last 2 episodes, with the exception of the Liz Taylor backstory (and the brief reference to Mare Winningham's son being kidnapped by the Wineville Chicken Coop Murderer. This season is all over the place and not gelling, imo. Great cast in a relative mess (so...
I liked this episode the best so far. Angela Bassett's back story being the highlight for me. Along with the Finn Wittrock on Cheyenne Jackson action. Again, I am amazed at Sarah Paulson and the depth and quality of her performances. Every thought flashes across her face and in her eyes, even...
I don't know. She is amazing. Especially in seasons 2 & 4 she did the most amazing, Emmy-deserving work. I really thought she may win for Freak Show. That was a fantastic achievement. I can't wait to see her take on Marcia Clark in American Crime Story.
Each of the last 2 seasons has become the highest rated, so I don't think we'll be seeing the end for quite a while. But they may lose me if they can't focus more on horror instead of gore. They are not the same. And the latter is the easy way out when it comes to writing.
I like some elements of this ep better and some worse. Still think the gore is too over the top. It takes me out of teh story and breakes the mood. Finn was great, but I really thought Evan could not handle his character at all. He seemed to be indicating more than inhabiting the period...

I was actually more excited by the teaser from American Crime Story than anything in the episode. Except the set. The set is fantastic.
Yep, vampires and ghosts. Kinda boring. Vampires have been done...
Given John Landgraff's assertion that it will have an "unusually large reinvention" this year, and with the "Hotel" sub-title, I'm wondering if it may be a more weekly anthology series this time around, with emphasis on weekly guest stars and stories as opposed to an overall arc. Just a guess...
