Dang it's getting slow again... I watched volume 4 of Love Hina the other day. In my opinion, the series is getting better, maybe a C+/B-. I also picked up volume 7 of the Love Hina manga from Tokyopop, which, IMHO is about a B+/A-. Obviously, the manga has more room for character development...

Andy: I think that's a real toughy. Some of the animated shows from the 50's were already using giant robots. Tetsujin 28 was being shown in Japan around 1958. When it came to the US in 1965, it was called Gigantor. I'm not sure if this one was the first or not. John.
