There is a way to get to most or all of the easter eggs from the main menu (also hidden somewhere in there). Look through any of the easter egg links and at least one of them should tell you how to locate it. I found it before, but that was when I first bought the disc and I don't remember how.
BB had them mixed in as well. Only on the relese day did they have them separated, up front in the "new releases" area; CD one on the left, DD on the right. I had to go LOOK through all of them for a replacement, and I think I got the last one in that store. The DD version was $1 more than the...
The gal complained about it, saying "No exchanges without the receipt, even for the same item." I told her she was crazy and probably had that "Get me a manager" look... so she asked someone else, and they said "OK, we'll do it just this ONE time." I have to say, I am less than impressed with DD...
It's a Sony 222ES, carousel. The mechanism must have zero clearance and it put a large band of scratches in the center of the disc when it was clamping/picking up the disc. My Denon 2200 played it fine on both sides prior to that, as well as my carousel Sony CA70ES and my HP CDR/W in my PC. The...
I had my first bad experience with dual disc yesterday... One of my players really doesn't like the additional thickness of DD and it destroyed the DVD side of my With Teeth. Needless to say, I expect I will only be buying DD versions for something I REALLY want to hear in surround...
It's definitely not like previous stuff, but after about 10+ full listens, most of the songs have already grown on me. Kind of like, the first time I heard The Hand That Feeds, I didn't like it, but after about 2 or 3 listens over the last week or so (radio and streamed), I already found myself...
My BB had them all lumped together. Though the packaging was very similar, it was very clear which one was which. So what did everyone think of the surround versions? I thought everything was very well placed, just like TDS. The right amount of surround used to expand the experience, without...
No problem man! :emoji_thumbsup: Yeah, Trent's 2ch has always been pretty amazingly well mixed, and the surround on TDS and the And All That Could Have Been DVD were great. So though I wasn't bowled over on the first run through, I know it will still be a great album and I can't wait to hear it...
I found plenty of the DD on the release date and bought it because there were no SACDs. The kuckleheads at Best Buy didn't even know what an SACD was...:rolleyes, but I got a raincheck and got the discounted release date price for the SACD (the only reason I went there looking for it) when they...
That kind of sucks, but I'm buying it anyway and it looks like I'll be getting the DD. Listened to it earlier today - a little different than previous stuff, but sounds pretty good. I liked some of the tracks on the first listen through, but nothing really seemed to stand out. I had to search...
