I think "many" would be more accurate these days and the trend is not good. We are starting to see 3D support dwindle in the low to mid-tier projector offerings. It's a fact that might end up costing me a huge premium to work around.

I pulled mine out after a year or so and both sets refused to pair with my Epson projector. One was an obvious battery issue but the other seemed normal. Anyway, I trashed them and ordered these, which work perfectly.
I can totally understand your position. Believe me, I wanted soooo much to love the LS12000, buy it and be done. I even considered holding onto my 6050 for occasional 3D viewing. Epson is a brand I'm both familiar and comfortable with, plus I know it will work with my existing ceiling mount...

I personally doubt the current generation knows or cares about Cameron or the Avatar franchise. I suspect both this film and the Spinal Tap reboot will be commercial flops but maybe not. Concerning 3D, I still have my collection which will suffice if need be.
