The packaging for Streets of San Francisco isn’t top notch in my opinion. But at least you don’t have to remove a disc to take one out or put one back in place as is the case with Star Trek TNG for example

I purchased The Streets of San Francisco and it is in the binder packaging. When I opened it, I found a piece of loose plastic material. However, I don’t find any loose or damaged discs upon inspecting them

Funny you mention that you have too many. I just finished counting mine. After I get NYPD blue finished as well as Perfect Strangers and Mayberry RFD. That’s it for me as far as collecting series TV

Thats what I saw at Wal Mart with Streets of San Francisco. It actually deterred me from buying it .. I will probably go get it tomorrow though

I had not ever thought of doing that .. Ive got 2 large DVD entertainment shelves with all movies and TV Shows displayed in their cases/packaging .. I might actually have to think about doing away with the packaging as well

Mill creek also did that with the DVD Version of Miami vice. the discs are in these Cardboard envelope looking things. Is that what you are referring to?
