I read the review as saying that TT made a deal with MGM, and that MGMs library includes post 1986 MGM titles among others. I would think that most of what TT would want to release would be the earlier United Artists titles in MGM's library.

How about Tom Sawyer. I'd really like to see it released on blu.

Isn't that film public domain? If so, I would think that something like the Film Noir Foundation would be the only real bet.

Since this thread's question relates to MGM, it's kind of difficult because on both a price and extras front at least, I would rather see a Criterion release. However, if there is one MGM film that I imagine Criterion would not go for but Twilight Time might that I would buy in a heartbeat...
