I wouldn't cut a thing, either. I agree with Mark about the effectiveness of the bar scene and how it lets us think of Budd as being a very easy target when The Bride shows up. And the scene with the boss is humorous as well.

As a whole 4 Hour Saga, you need Peaks and Valleys, IMO. Not constant action, nor constant chatter.
