    So is the DCP in 2K or 4K? I remember Mr. Harris said something to the effect that properly done, 4K can fully resolve a 70mm print. That said I may still trek to see this at AFI Silver.

    The Silver is a beautifully restored art deco theater. I don't think though that the screen is much wider than 45 feet. When they show 70mm, the proscenium is designed to fold back a bit to show more screen, something I have never seen anywhere else. In a perfect world, the ideal venue in DC...

    THE MASTER was shot on 70mm but the aspect ratio was 1.85. so part of the image was not used. I know Anderson said he was going for the look of the 50's VistaVision films, but I did not see anything that really had that look in any of the shots. I am not sure why he bothered with the format...
