I had the chance to speak with Mr. Shatner today and asked him about the rumor that he may be doing a Director's Cut of Star Trek V for an upcoming DVD release and he replied: "Did it already." Looks like it's happening.

Glen used to work with us at IGN after he left AICN, and his info is always spot on. He sent me the same email, but this was at the end of it: "please don't use my name in association with it." Nice to know AICN is so considerate ;)
