XM Radio is picking up the NHL on its stations. They just signed a deal to be the exclusive carrier of the NHL games after the 07 season I think. I might be able to watch them play on TV this year but at least I get to listen to the games.:D
After reading the review over at Gamespot you might want to pick up one of the last 2 years version of the 2K series. It sounds like it dropped off a little bit. The roster changes also did not make the cut in the latest version. Thats too bad. Im not sure if EA's version made it either.
The 2K games are only $20, thats the best part. They are better than EA and they are far less. They used to have the ESPN license and the thing they have over EA is they finally got hockey right. The game has lots of sliders so you can make any of the options to your likeing. The game is...
You should buy the 2K series. I agree with you, they IMHO have been much better than the EA series for several years. These games are awesome and should not be overlooked. I cant wait to get this years version jacked up roster or not, haha.
The more I think of ESPN not picking up the NHL it just pisses me off to no end. I will probably only get to watch 5 games this whole season and that will drive me crazy. Plus ESPN had some great announcers for the broadcasts too.
The Atlanta franchise surprised me when it was announced. Portland was on the list for expansion teams but Paul Allen wants a cup contender if he buys a team. It should be easier budget wise with the cap now too.:D I can only hope and pray we get one soon. Right now we have the Winterhawks...
Just saw this on Yahoo. Heatley for Hossa Also saw this pic on Yahoo of the Japanese goalie picked up by the Kings, I got a chuckle out of it. I felt like a 13 year old laughing when someone says boobie trap but I thought I would post it. http://us.news3.yimg.com/us.i2.yimg....Ku7xcPEnvvtQ--
Is OLN the only channel that is going to show any games then? Besides, the center ice package and Canadian broadcasts. And whats the deal with OLN only showing 2 games per week. Am I looking at this wrong or is the NHL not getting any air time this season?
