My favorite line of the episode, and one I was wondering myself: "Why is your house so much nicer than mine?" Although it makes zero sense that he wouldn't have ever seen her house before.

Wait, so previous cliffhangers and mythology are now being retconned at will? What's to prevent them from doing that again at any time for anything? So it makes the entire show and story completely pointless. Yeah, I'm done. So sad for a long time X-Files fan, but jumping the shark is waaaay...

Or, the opposite, as in my case, I did not miss a single episode of the last season, and as a result, I will not bother watching any further seasons. :P This coming from a huge X-Files fan.

Bah. I'm a huge fan of the X-Files, but with the exception of the brilliant Were-Monster episode, the last set of episodes was complete trash. I think they should just let it die with some sense of glory, instead of just running it in to the dirt. I don't have high hopes.

It's been a very long time since I watched the original series, but I distinctly remember in the final episode, cancer man being blown up by a helicopter missile or something like that, complete with a n extended shot of his head burning off. Am I completely mis-remembering things, or what...

Maybe not a good episdode, but certainly one of the funnest.
