    It makes you wonder if the demand couldn’t be generated, with more of a push to classic content in streaming. Considering higher residuals wouldn’t be a factor, it’s there waiting to be shown and it’s not like Ann Miller is out there on a picket line.

    I’ve tried to play both scenes together and it’s interesting to see that for Ziegfeld Girl, they used the same take (evidenced by a chorine at the top left adjusting her dress) but the curtains are different- closing from left and right or pouring down from the ceiling.

    I do love this movie. And, as a suggestion for extras- the bloopers Warner included in the Breakdown shorts, John Barrymore’s screen test, and any one of a number of the early TV adaptations. Not asking too much, right?
