Eh, having three Law & Order shows has seemingly only made that franchise stronger. I think CBS and NBC may have hit a saturation point for the entire police procedural genre on TV, especially by the time Trial By Jury starts (though I gather that won't really be a cop show).

And it's not like Sheen, Caan, Sinise, and Peterson are still big draws at the movies right now; I think a lot of the appeal of TV to some of these guys with feature credits is that they get to be a big fish in a small pond, or at least perceive it that way. Or they get to play the lead as...
