Well it sounds like they are going to appease a lot of those disgruntled fans with the first 15 minutes of the second season opener. The DVD set sounds great, and perfect timing to get myself back in the mood for some more Lost.

I hope all of these extra episodes fill up those long gaps of repeats that we had last season. It was rough watching 2 episodes then going 4 weeks with no new ones. Can't wait for season 2. Go through the hatch damnit!!! :D

On another board someone said that they recognised one of the people on the boat from a flashback. Haven't had a confirmation on which 'the others' it was and which flashback yet, but if that is true then that just brings up even more questions.

Just checked my recordings of the pilot to see if that scene really was like that, and it was! aldamon said it best, holy crap!

Incredible episode. So many pieces fell together and filled a lot of those holes we were given throughout the season. It was strange how this felt like a finale of sorts with all of the goodbyes and good guestures, but it is just the beginning of the adventure. 2 more suspenseful hours...

Speaking of shots, I really hope they remain in Hawaii. There have been many great shots throughout the episodes that couldn't have been done anywhere else...except for another tropical island. :) And they do add so much to the overall feel of the show.

Well Hurley wasn't even a character in the show when they were casting but they liked the actor so much they made a role for him. So it does make sense that his flashback would come up late, especially if they had the show outlined already. Glad to see we get one of him though. :D I want more...

One of the cool things about the show is how Hurley came about. He wasn't even a character until the actor playing him auditioned and they wrote the character just for him. So far he has had some great interaction with all of the different 'cast aways' even if he is mostly just comic relief. :)...

Kelp is a common ingredient in toothpaste. That is probably what she was rubbing on her teeth. I don't know how effective straight kelp is, but it is used for that. :)
