I hope they don't show the creature clearly, for some strange reason i'm compelled NOT to know what this thing looks like, go figure. I think it's because I don't want the mysterious lure of the trailer ruined just yet, like the creature won't live up to what i've already imagined in my mind...
Abrams intends this film and the monster to be a surprise and for once i'm going to allow it, I choose not to see the monster or read any reviews until I see the film. Too often these days the internet ruins the surprise of films, could you imagine seeing what the T-Rex looked like months or...
I'm glad that this movie isn't an M. Night Shamalan film or the monster wouldn't REALLY be a monster but a bunch of the locals all piled on top of each other wearing a corny ass monster suit. ;)

Wow, this movie looks freakin' sweet! Like Godzilla only with good acting, writing, directing, lighting, suspense and fun. ;) I think this trailer is different, the first one was more vague and was all from the video camera's POV, this one actually features scenes from the actual movie I think.
Agreed that this movie looks great, and when my friend and I saw the teaser before TF my friend said Godzilla 2? and I told him I doubted it, the first (Emmerich) one was a flop.
