Well, I guess it's time for me to look back and review my predictions from the start of the year: I've written the figures in the order Prediction/Actual. DareDevil: $120m/$102.5m - Not a bad prediction, if the film had better legs from its $40m start then this would probably have been...

I can't claim to be an expert on these matters, but here's a couple of points that I think are relevant: - According to Box Office Mojo, studios earn approximately 55% of box office grosses (i.e. cinemas take the other 45%). - In the USA at least, I believe studios often have deals worked...

With regards to Garfield, okay, Jennifer Love Hewitt is badly miscast, and I'm not convinced with Breckin Meyer, but they have got Bill Murray as the voice of Garfield, which is just about the best casting job they could have done. I'll be there opening night... :)

2F2F Prediction: $37.6 million opening, on it's way to a poor multiplier to sneak it past $100m...

Have you seen the International trailer for T3? It is far, far better than the current teaser trailer, and really got me excited to see it again... I think it's available to download from comingsoon.net...

I'm going to add two more predictions to my list, and these will probably be the last ones as well... The Recruit: $70m - the trailer looks good, but I don't see this performing much beyond Training Day or Insomnia. Final Destination 2: $65m - this appears to be a straight rehash of the...

More predictions from me: Bad Boys 2: $160m - this looks like it could be big, but I'd imagine it'll still be R-rated and there's a lot of competition this summer. Spy Kids 2: $70m - that sounds about right to me. Legally Blonde 2: $120m - this should do a little bit better than the...

Wow, cool tables! This is becoming very professional... Anyway, I have another few predictions to make: Tomb Raider 2: $105m - this is tricky, as the first film performed well but was regarded as being a little bit rubbish. I haven't heard too much hype, but you never know, it could be...

I'll add more predictions soon but my first few are as follows: Daredevil: $120m - there isn't much hype about this, but I think it'll still open reasonably and make its way past $100m. X2: $175m - this should do better than the first X-Men film, but not massively better. The Matrix...
