There's nothing I could add to that, but I also had a good cry from Gilroy on. I made my soul sing to hear Kristina say, "I have to go get her. She's my niece." I can just imagine the emotions Amber was going through when she saw Haddie and Kristina outside the truck stop--guilt, shame, fear...
I thought the boob job storyline was kind of odd until Julia came out with her family's problems and found out the woman wasn't just a weirdo, but was going through some strife herself.
Wow, that was a raw, emotionally draining episode of television. Excellent, but tough to watch. We are the only ones with the benefit of having seen Amber's side of things, so I hate the way she's being treated. I'm pretty proud of Drew for brothering up. I know Amber messed up bad in a way...
Mike, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's good that she waited because he might have had a negative reaction. Like Adam, I'm just saying that he probably *would* have had a negative reaction five years ago. You have the right outlook on the situation and I hope the writers have all of...

Adam, I thought the same thing about Crosby five years past. He probably would have run away just as Jasmine feared he would. He's not the same guy he was a couple of months ago, but I...
That was a terrific episode. I know I said I wasn't entirely thrilled with last week's, but this show follows the Jason Katims pattern where individual episodes are largely irrelevant. It's not about the plot of the week. It's just one big tapestry. Sarah and Amber have a completely...
It's because you don't agree that he was using Jabar as a "chick magnet." Jabar's mom thought that he was, and I agree that that's how it started out for him. And, there's nothing wrong with him starting a relationship with that woman, but it'd be better on his own time than to be doing it...
Just got the reply box bug.
I think from Dax's acting it was clear from the moment he saw that woman in the yoga class, he was wanting to hook up and when she suggested a play date, he was more excited for himself than Jabar. That was the main reason he was over there to begin with, but then...
For reasons I can't pinpoint, I wasn't crazy about this latest episode. I did like that Cros was using Jabar as a "chick magnet" and realized he was doing it and didn't like the realization.
I think she has been posted in the thread, but probably not by me. I was really limited by Yahoo's image search engine. By the way, did you know her dad was once a rhythm guitarist with Aerosmith? And if anyone's wondering why I called her Lila, that's her character on Friday Night Lights.
The shot of the Braverman plate was nice. I like the Cros. I hope we catch up on how Crazy Katie is handling his fatherhood soon. Maybe this is stupid, but I thought it was cool that even this early, the show was comfortable with Crosby talking about Adam and Julia with joke names--"Judge...
That's good to hear. I don't know much about ratings, but I get concerned when I see all of these "NBC falters with Parenthood" headlines. It seems to get Chuck numbers--between 5 and 7 million--and I don't know if that's good or bad, but hopefully it's enough after the fall of the Jay Leno...
Another good one. I'm glad Crosby finally broke the news to Katie. He probably could have handled it a little better. I thought Drew and Sarah were a little rough on Adam, since they know how Max can be. Adam's probably the best TV father since Coach Taylor, and he has the added burden of...
Maybe it's the quality of the cast, but they found their footing quick. Maybe from the word go. It's the best new show on TV by far, but it's shedding viewers every week.
I thought it was excellent. Like Adam, I am not a Ronnie Howard fan and have never seen the movie, but I think credit for this success belongs to Jason Katims. It's got the same heart, realism and respect for the characters that Friday Night Lights does. Hopefully, it won't share the struggle...
