I think kind of expensive but I...
The problem with releasing season sets of a long running show is the more seasons released, the less copies they sell. From DVD days that lead to many series being incomplete until a boutique label such as Shout finished the series. In some cases it was many years between when the first and...
It could be that the North By Northwest Collector's Edition box set is limited to the UK. That is what happened with "Casablanca." The UK set has a list price of £45.00.
4K only for the US and a box set for the UK. Since 4K discs are region free the box set could be ordered from the UK, if the...
Here is the UK listing for a box set with stuff for the 4K North By Northwest coming later this year. Art work for packaging not finalized.

I think release date delays are just something we have to live with. With fewer plants manufacturing discs delays will happen . I imagine even though there are delays, demand is not great enough to open a new manufacturing plant. I guess the only thing the archive can do extend the release date...

The unfortunate thing is that the Warner Archive will not make public a list of the films they are working on or "in the pipeline" as they use to say. When they did provide a list years ago, there were fire and pitchfork comments here and elsewhere claiming Warner Archive lied or whatever when...
Why ? This is the Warner Archive Announcement thread. Films released by the Warner Archive includes films owned by Warner Discovery which includes most RKO films and the mid 1986 and prior films originally released by MGM, I see no reason to limit the discussion to films originally released by...
I would like to see more 1930's Clark Gable in blu ray. Where are "Idiot's Delight", "Test Pilot", "Too Hot To Handle" and "Manhattan Melodrama ." While I am not a big fan of his pairings with Joan Crawford I would buy blu rays of "Forsaking All Others", "Possessed", "Love On The Run" , and...
How about a complete "The Bugs Bunny Show" in B&W as originally broadcast by ABC. I know the show was produced in color but the full wrap around segments apparently only exist in B&W. Perhaps it would have to be a DVD release if only analogue tape exists. I find it distracting when they switch...
Pre-Hysterical Hare (1958) Bugs Bunny-Directed by Robert McKimson has someone other than Arthur Q Bryant doing the voice of Elmer Fudd. He was still alive when the cartoon was made but was too ill to work. Dave Barry voiced Elmer.
China Jones(1959) Daffy Duck & Porky Pig-Directed by Chuck...
TCM, owned by WB, is celebrating Columbia Picture's 100th Anniversary during January with Columbia Pictures every Thursday. This is not the same as TCM did for WB in 2023 but TCM doesn't own the Columbia Pictures library of films and must pay Sony to broadcast them. So Warner Bros will celebrate...
If you have 3 movies in your cart and add the coupon you will get $27 off your order. If you add a 4th title, they remove the coupon and you are charged regular price for all 4 items. If you remove the 4th item you will have to enter the coupon again. They don't allow you to get 3 with the...
It worked for me and I am not a newsletter subscriber. I just copied the code "Newsletter" from the post. Of course when I saw 3 for $12.99 I thought you could get 3 movies for a total price of $12.99 not 3 movies for $12.99 each plus shipping, so not quite the deal I thought it was.
This is something I didn't know existed, a 1980's filmed original play version of "You Can't Take It With You" staring Jean Stapleton, Art Carney and many familiar names from TV from the 70's and 80's. It's a burned DVD from the archive and is currently $9.99.
Not that cheap but cheaper than usual.
Meet Me in St Louis $15.99
Angels With Dirty Faces $14.49
What's Up, Doc? $15.99
Sergeant York $15.99
Neptune's Daughter $15.49
