I've had my Tivo Series 2 for a few months now and like it quite a bit. It's hard to imagine life with Tivo. Having said that, I'd definitely recommend the DirecTV integrated model. I have a 53" Sony projection TV, and the quality of the stand-alone Tivo leaves something to be desired...
