    What are the negatives about purchasing a large LCD set?

    From similar viewing distances, I tend to see more artifacts in larger LCDs than in DLP or plasma. For smaller displays, LCD is great; but at 42"-50" I start seeing picture elements too clearly. Just my 2 cents.
