Watched this on Prime. What a mess. Nothing scary, Ellen Burstyn was wasted, far too much was a rehash of the original but with none of its soul (pardon my choice of words!).

@Winston T. Boogie I’m glad you mentioned the TV show! I really liked the first season a lot. The second season was good, but I wasn’t terribly disappointed it was canceled.

Remember, they paid $400 million for the rights to do three films. So that also has to be factored in. I’m probably in the minority here but I find the vast majority of Blumhouse films to have a pretty decent core idea…and they waste it. Hulu or Peacock had a series of Blumhouse movies a few...
