You guys are such a bad influence---when I read how much some of you spend on dvds, I don't feel I'm overdoing it :-). I discovered that DDD has a LETHAL WEAPON 1-3 set (Director's Cut) for $18.72 with the discount, so I ordered it. It's out of stock, so we'll see if I actually get it.
Micah, I got "Laura" for $7.49 from amazon, back in August. They now have it for $8.98. Guess we have to accept the fact that dvd prices fluctuate just like computer memory chips.
Maybe the markups depend on the popularity of the selection. Most of what I bought is not in high demand and I didn't notice any increase in price. For example, the "House of Eliott" series is currently $47.99 at amazon and with the discount is $31.20 at DDD. "Foyle's War" is $41.99 at amazon...
DDD has a new search engine that is very good and light-years better than the old one, which was horrible. PS Thanks to JamesY for the DVDPriceSearch.com web site--I didn't know about it.
Thanks to James D for letting us know the codes and that they're now active, so I didn't have to wait until I get the email notice from DDD. I just placed an order, realized I forgot a few titles, and went back and placed a second order. Some of the dvds I got: Law & Order: Criminal Intent...
