Well, I just pulled the trigger on the Momistu V880. I also got a 30 foot DVI-D cable from Blue Jeans Cable. I hope that it's worth the trouble. I'm starting to feel buyer's remorse already. I guess I'll find out in a few days.

John F, I guess I'm a bit confused. Are you saying that the player outputs a digital signal through its DVI port, but the VGA cable converts the signal to analog? Wouldn't there have to be some kind of D/A converter to make this happen? I understand that a VGA cable is an analog connection, but...
