Sadly, I think if she were spouting rhetoric from the other side, a lot of people here would be up in arms about it. I have no problem with an artist presenting their beliefs in a song. If I pay to go hear Steve Earle, I expect it. If I'm paying to hear Journey, I don't. They have no track...
So everyone here is ok with getting political rhetoric from an artist they've paid to see? When I go to a show, I want to hear music. Save your politics for the campaign trail.
If he insists on campaigning during his shows, he might be in trouble. He isn't paid by casinos to campaign for someone, he's there to sing/entertain. That's what people are paying to see. He can campaign on his own time.
Moore has no soul either. Half the stuff he parades around is made up. The other half doesn't amount to much. I don't have a problem with someone being against the war, but at least be honest about it. I heard someone interviewed on the radio who was there. He said Linda was in hot water...
