Anyone know if Parts 2, 3 et. al. are uncut?

Unfortunately I do not know enough about SMPTE to form any kind of intelligent reply. The framing is still dubious in my opinion, but that is nothing more than what 'looks' logical to me in terms of framing. Thank you for the heads up, though. Interesting nonetheless.

Any one try contacting Paramount yet? There contact number was not easily available on their site. Found it on DVDtalk but have not tried it yet. I'd take an uncut print in the original aspect ratio over this. I watched the disc last night and the cropping is pretty noticeable in some shots...

It would seem they used a similar print as the European release for the purposes of uncut. Any idea why the framing would have been adjusted? Print damage perhaps?

Damn. I already preordered and it was delivered. Bloody hell. If this is a mistake, which for all intents and purposes at this moment seems so, fix it Paramount! To finally get an uncut HD disc seemingly ruined by manipulation is.....deeply unfortunate.
