It's perfectly valid to complain about too much grain when there clearly IS too much grain. I've seen films of this vintage projected in 35mm and you do not see this amount of grain on a good print (unless you're sitting 6 foot from the screen!).

I certainly don't think it's visually perfect. It has far too much grain for one thing. Yes.... I know film should have grain - but not this much.
