I would think that Eugene Pallette will always be remembered best as Friar Tuck in "The Adventures of Robin Hood"
but my favourite is undoubtedly as E.F. Strable in the wonderful "Heaven Can Wait"
His table scenes with Marjorie Main are priceless.
Probably the most bizarre piece of dubbing was Betty Noyes dubbing for Debbie Reynolds who in turn was dubbing for Jean Hagen in "Singin' in the Rain" (the song was "Would You?")
I've often wondered if it was an in-joke.

There was speculation that Marni Nixon dubbed for Natalie Wood in that film, but I'm pretty sure that Natalie did her own singing.
