I realize this is my personal wish list, that not everything can come out at once, that holding off on some titles might mean a better-looking...
It seems you are correct, Thomas. It may have been a VHS release or something I was think of. In any case, the DVD looked like crap, so this can only be an improvement.
Well, with this latest news (thank you MisterLime), there is only THE PAWNBROKER left unannounced on that list that appeals to me. I hope it doesn't wind up being pulled for lack of decent source material.

I am axiously awaiting THE PAWNBROKER, OPERATION PETTICOAT, DR. TERROR'S HOUSE OF HORRORS and the guilty pleasure of FIRE MAIDENS FROM OUTER SPACE (you haven't lived until you see how it uses Borodin's Polovetsian Dances -- aka "Stranger In Paradise).
Oh my, yes! How many people remember this touching, but underseen film? It has a few things in common with Jack Clayton's OUR MOTHER'S HOUSE (an MGM film that needs a DVD release if nothing else).
I am hoping we will soon see a few of the Republic titles that were on the initial list: FATHER...

I'd love to have this, but since when is Sony licensing titles to Olive? They have a very active MOD program. Unless they lost the rights to it since 1971, perhaps...?
