It seems to me that the issues lie with the upgraded motorola chip and the subsequent code for it. I have a Version 1.12 and have had no problems with it since I purchased it in December '01. Anybody else with a Version 1 having problems, I'm curious?

Now that the Firewire standard has been agreed upon, has anyone heard when that upgrade might become available. I haven't upgraded to V.2 yet, I thought I could kill two birds with one stone.

Sounds like a case of your dealer trying to push what he sells. I've had my AVM20 since January with zero problems. There have been reports of fuses blowing, but to my knowledge this has been addressed. I think it would be fair to say that an overwhelming majority of Anthem owners are overjoyed...
