I'm annoyed by geographic names being reused in different parts of the country.
Today's annoyance: the Powder River in Oregon vs. the Powder River in Wyoming. The memoirs of Capt. Bonneville talks about both but never puts in context which one he's referencing.

I got a local when they put the needle in. But 4 days later when they yanked it out there was no additional local. Twenty minutes after yanking it out I went into atrial fibrillation which caused yet another Chinese fire drill in my ICU room.
If you want to get annoyed, try getting a pericardiocentesis sometime. I had one last December. They run a huge needle through your ribcage down into the pericardium, guided by ultrasound probe, so they can drain off excess fluid. And you are awake for the entire proceedings.
I hate to read on a can of Henry Weinhard's beer a note that it's made by Blitz-Weinhard Brewing Co., Milwaukee WI/Irwindale CA.
This was originally an Oregon beer. Why the pretense that they have a separate brewery from MillerCoors Corp.?

I have two now-former newspaper journalists in my family. They are the most poorly-educated people in said family. Somehow you can get a degree in "journalism" without taking any substantive coursework.
I'm annoyed with items that require maintenance but it's not made easy or even disclosed to the purchaser......
