How are the Dick Van Dyke sets?

Noticed another mini-goof in Season 3's ep. "The Third One From The Left". Actually, it's probably a problem with the transfer to the DVD disc. One of the funniest lines in this episode, in fact, is slightly "cropped", or cut (audio-wise). Rob's line to Laura: "I'll tell you one thing...I'm...

How are the Dick Van Dyke sets?

I'd heard about Johnny Carson being considered seriously for the Rob Petrie role; but never the Elizabeth Montgomery angle. From all the documentaries I've seen, Carl Reiner (AFAIK, or can remember) never mentioned Elizabeth ever having been considered or auditioned for the part of Laura...

How are the Dick Van Dyke sets?

Like the Season 2 box, the S.3 packaging shows the incorrect number of episodes. It should be 32, not 31, for the third season (number of eps. filmed during '63-'64).

How are the Dick Van Dyke sets?

Yes, I've always kinda "felt" that JFK-Jackie/Rob-Laura tie-in. They were termed by some as the "First Couple Of Television". (I agree...even 40 years later.) :)
