It seems the writers were running out of ways to incorporate the Kravitzes. Next season they only appear six times and it also happens to be the last time they appear. There are no Kravitzes during the eighth season oddly enough though they do reappear on the spin-off "Tabitha".

I just think it's ridiculous that other studios can, and do, release their material with the old stuff in tact but for some reason the bird brains at Sony think it'll lessen their material or whatever...it's disgusting! I just wish that Paul Brownstein productions who put out Dick Van Dyke...

Regulus, I'm glad you ended your question with a LOL So I've watched all of Disc 1 and I'm now on Disc 2 and just finished watching "Darrin the Warlock", one of my FAVORITE episodes. It is FANTASTIC seeing the DS episodes in crystal clear clarity but even better seeing "new" scenes...

I just purchased mine at Target and haven't had time to actually pop it in to have a look...but I do have tomorrow off work so I WILL devote most of the day to watching BW:) But as far as the packaging goes, this set is the FIRST time in six seasons that ALL pictures used actually come from...

I'm not aware of any solid reason they did not appear but I'm sure it had to with budget cuts.

I would have to agree that "Sam's Double Mother Trouble" is the worst out of the sixth season and it really is too bad that David White was director. But, that being said, the rest of the episodes are really great and even that episode has it's moments.

I would say that for the most part, Season Seven is very original. There are only about two episodes that I can think of that are direct remakes, but we'll save that for discussion when Season Seven gets closer to being released:) I will say that Season Seven is my favorite of the DS years.

DavidVP, thanks for posting those links...it's too bad Sony won't clean 'em up and include them on their DVDs instead of idiotic things like the, ahem, bloopers reels on Seasons 1 and 2 and the mini-sodes on this Season 6. Ross, if you think this season's got a lot of remakes you just wait...
