I saw The Towering Inferno at the Casino in 35mm Scope Mono when they put in the small screen just when it finished as a cinema, they put in a FP20 with a platter and took them lovely DP70s out.

Hi Roland,When Zulu was shown in 1972 the screen was smaller than the Original Cinerama screen shown in your picture.But i bet it still looked really good.

If it had 5 front and Mono Surround on the DTS/Datasat it must havehave been set up for DTS Special Venue to have that format.Are you sure you had 2 front channels ?

The 70mm Ultra Panavision print screened at Bradford a few years ago used a DTS/Datasat 5.1 track.
