Only because apparently they're mastering a new disc as opposed to the other one. With that "boxed set," they're using pre-existing discs and they dont' have to change anything. But ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS...i'm appalled.

I understand perfectly. But no one is talking about the running time of the movie. Everyone is talking about the running times associated with the extras listed. Maybe YOU are not understanding.

Oh really? So you think they would have been created without the directors input? They weren't put out there because Columbia had the brilliant idea to put them out there as a tie-in of some sort or another way of cashing in on the films. Scott and Fincher are KNOWN for doing multiple DVD sets...

And both discs were created by their individual directors. Has nothing to do with Columbia.
