    Exactly. It remains nuts that the movie's not been released on a disc format for 24 years. You woulda thought they'd at least have done a remastered DVD during the format's glory years. Same for "True Lies", though I think the post-9/11 climate made that one more controversial. While "Abyss"...

    Because it's fairly expensive and wouldn't find much of an audience? Seriously? Ron is the guy who originated the pinned thread about the best 3D Blu-rays. And it's a bizarre stretch to view his realistic opinion that a 3D "Abyss" ain't gonna happen as indicative of his hatred toward the format.

    Crud - I'm a dope. I saw "Jaws" 3D and totally blanked! Anyway, it's the proverbial exception that proves the rule. And "Jaws" is a much more prominent/famous movie than "Abyss" and "True Lies"! :)

    Can't imagine Cameron will go back and redo any more of his old movies 3D. That would've made some theoretical sense like 10 years ago but not now.
