Hmm, I feel like I've already seen both of these films a dozen times. Accidental Murder, I guess. (BTW, the movie would only weird me out if George tainted it with his bizarre classic-actors-as-porn-stars routine)
The Grand Expatriates The "Superman through the eyes of Lex Luthor" gimmick would be interesting at first, but I don't think it could sustain a whole movie.
Ack! George, I would have voted for myself if I'd known Cary was going to vote for himself. This sucks. I lose just because I wasn't awake in time to see his vote.
Jeez, Morning Deli sounds frickin' great! I would love to see that. George is being funny with my character actor name, of course. You'd have to read back through the thread if you missed it. The Owen Wilson character has no name. I would vote for myself, but I'll abstain unless Cary votes.
I can't decide, both sound great. I'll vote for It's Tight Like That. I guess I ought to come up with a synopsis, since everyone else is. I really haven't thought it through, to be honest. I was thinking more of a certain mood, a certain type of film, rather than a particular story. I don't...
One request please, George... can you not double space between all the lines? I like to able to take in everything without scrolling. I know I'm being a picky bastard, but hey, I gotta be me. Since I've never seen a Bunuel film, and only one Almodovar, I think I should abstain.
I agonized over that choice, anticipating a reaction like George's. He's never done a score. But I really think a composer of Mozart's talent and genius wouldn't have much trouble picking up the nuances of film scoring. I almost went with Peter Gabriel instead.
Well, my characters aren't known characters. I don't know... the names don't matter to me. Call him John Doe. Call him Ishmael. Call him Scrooge McDuck for all I care.

I think next up is (all need to pick character actor): Lew me Erik John Dhein Steeve Justin John Kilduff and... Chris can pick his composer now. Cary can pick his director now. Jeff can pick his screenwriter now. Vickie can pick her actress now.
Showbiz Update: Bjork to Act Again! Music icon Bjork (full name: Bjork Gudmundsdottir), who dazzled audiences in Lars Von Trier's controversial Dancer in the Dark, announced that she would be returning to the silver screen, this time in Ingmar Bergman's upcoming film, Nine Afternoons. This...
Can we discuss that "character actor" thing for a minute, actually? When I think of character actors, what comes to mind is wacky oddballs like Uncle Billy in It's A Wonderful Life or Dudley "Booger" Dawson in Revenge of the Nerds. The mood of the film I'm making doesn't really have room for a...
I never listened to this one, but it's from Columbia's Legacy series, which did excellent sets for Robert Johnson and Bessie Smith: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=music Sample titles: "If It Don't Fit (Don't Force It)" "The Best Jockey in Town" "My Pencil Won't Write...
