I checked my disc 3 from season 4 and there is the same problem. The time counter doesn't skip, it continues counting - but the video starts to look like it is fast forwarding through parts of it. This happens off and on from about 7:58 until about the 8:12 mark. The episode run time shows 41:57.

I'm glad to see Cannon is getting closer. I will get the last two seasons, if possible, and the complete series set if it's the only way to complete the series. I hope the sales for Cannon are such that VEI is encouraged to keep the CBS releases coming.

I will miss the CBS remastering, too. But like you, I'm thinking it may be the only way to get the rest of these shows. Cannon was never restored, so I don't feel like there is a loss there. However, Barnaby Jones looked great, and I just hope there isn't too much lost in video quality.

Very happy to see Cannon and Barnaby Jones getting restarted. And I hope we will see other stalled CBS/P shows eventually go this route.
