:D You know, the dialogue in the fireplace scene is bad in the beginning. BUT, I love the cinematography, lighting, etc. And the acting is decent near the end of the scene, and the "keep it a secret" stuff is important for later on, and it gives us a peak into the rebellious nature of young...

Lou: Gotta disagree with you on the ROTJ love. I think the filmmaking quality is light years below any of the other five. Marquand is just not in the same league as Lucas or Kershner. Granted, the characters are more beloved, and the last reel is great, but the rest of the movie is pretty...

My first viewing (the midnight show) has REALLY soft sound. Subsequent viewings on film ranged from okay to great sound (the last time I saw it on film it sounded great). My DLP viewing at the Odeon Leicester Square was superb. Nice sound quality (like you mentioned) but also a great volume.

Nah...I think ROTJ is the worst film of the bunch. It has a more linear story and an important character payoff, but the technical elements are so far below the other 5 (excepting the effects work in the end space battle) that it is number 6 overall in my rankings. I was happy with the...
