When I say nothing else was taken, that includes all of the other gear in my A/V rack which was pretty decent stuff for its time -- definitely steal-able and fence-able. And I don't recall anything else in the place missing. Now of course it's possible to score a quality well-restored...

Ha. Exactly. I seriously lucked out by hearing that it was still available from the Disney Movie Club and quickly joined just in time to grab one. That experience constituted MY lesson learned, for sure.

Also, trailers tended to get kind of beat up anyway, so it seems sort of natural to seem some of them in rough shape...though I do wish widescreen ones were always anamorphic.
