I've always felt that the OT turned out as good as it did BECAUSE of the limitations that Lucas had. Sometimes having limitations forces you to be creative. Now with computers, there's not limit in what you can put on screen and that's not necessarily a good thing.

Earlier in the thread there was speculation that the subtitles would be player generated. They are not. They're burned in to the black area below the picture.

That statement actually covers MANY of the changes that Lucas DID make to the OT. I was amazed at the trivial changes that were actually made.
